Apply as a Writer or Editor
OVERVIEW
The Anteater Undergraduate Law Review is seeking contributors for its second volume, to be published in Spring 2026. We are looking for intellectually curious, dedicated students who demonstrate strong analytical writing skills, attention to detail, and a genuine interest in legal scholarship. Ideal applicants are collaborative, professional, and committed to engaging thoughtfully with complex legal and policy issues in a nonpartisan academic setting.
HOW TO APPLY
The AULR application process is competitive and designed to identify motivated, detail oriented students committed to legal scholarship. Applicants must be UC Irvine students in good academic standing and submit a professional application along with a writing sample on a topic assigned by the Editorial Board. Applications are reviewed holistically by the Board, with selections based on academic merit, writing quality, critical thinking, and demonstrated interest in law, policy, or scholarly research. Direct any questions about the application to the Executive Board at anteaterlawreview@gmail.com.
